Career in Pet Sitting

A Pet Sitter (Kennel Service) will typically be someone who will go to a pet owners house and take care of the animal, this includes, feeding, watering, bathing, walking, cleaning, and petting the animal. Pet sitters are usually friends of the owner although some people do it as a full or part time career. Kennels are operated to act as temporary homes for pets while their owners are on vacation or not at home for long periods of time. A kennel will walk, clean, feed, bathe, and care for an animal during its stay in the kennel. The pet will usually be placed in a cage and the owner can obtain his/her pet when they return from their absence. Many kennels provide grooming and obedience services as well. Kennels are typically owned by one or more individuals who then hire groomers, and other pet care staff.
