These tasks mostly involve a variety of office duties such as answering phones, proofreading, typing, word processing, greeting guests, research, and transcribing. The working environment is usually a very busy one; you will be required to do many tasks that make the office function. Without secretarial services many offices would not be able to operate. Employees in this field typically work at a desk with a computer and telephone. Many times their workstation will be at the front reception area or next to their individual employers office.
