Career in Catering

Caterers are responsible for preparing and serving food and drinks at an event. A caterer will usually prepare a large amount of uniform food for a party, wedding, conference, funeral, graduation, or other event. The caterer will usually employ chefs/cooks, wait staff and bar staff. The caterer will determine how much food and drink will be necessary for an event, charge the organizer a fee, and handle preparation, serving and cleaning up at the event.
